Ho Rahega Kuch Na Kuch … the maiden production of Khela and the team has striven hard to touch the hearts of our audience. Namrata Sharma – Director of Khela Natya Sansthan

Namrata Sharma, an active theatre practitioner since 1998, commenced her journey with GYTS, Sriganganagar (Rajasthan) 1998-2000, while pursuing BSc (MDS University, Ajmer), held theatre workshops in rural areas and with deaf and dumb children besides staging several plays in the region and outside, later post graduated from the Department of Indian Theatre, Panjab University, Chandigarh (2002) and NET (UGC). In Chandigarh she founded Srishti Centre for Arts and worked extensively in and around the city from 2000-2004. She joined as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Theatre and Television, Punjabi University, Patiala (2005 till date). She has acted in about thirty five plays, designed around ten plays, is a member of University Board of Studies, been an expert in different theatre workshops and subject expert for a number of documentary films of UGC. Currently she is pursuing her PhD. She has initiated Khela with an urge to do some meaningful theatre in her home state Rajasthan.
