Synopsis of the Play – Aahat:

With their hearts full of profound love and optimism, Sameer and Madhavi initiate their nuptial life in a metropolis. Having fought tooth and nail against their families to materialize their inter caste marriage they are now  wedged into rigmarole of achieving as many materialistic assets as they can like any other young couple of our times. Engrossed in their unimpeded pursuit of worldly belongings they do not discern advent of a demon hell bent upon devastating their lives and rob it of its ethereal beauty and virtue. This is a story of intense struggle of their love, values and self respect with beastly instinct of acquisitive progress. At the same time the play evokes a pertinent query in the mind of spectators- Do we really know ourselves and our so called dear ones? In the hastily altering societal scenarios it raises a question on our changing priorities and value system and provokes us to think- Where are we heading towards? Are we listening to the whispers of demon!
